Our goal at Bad Girls Art Gallery is to help everyone find their 'Inner Artist'. We're constantly creating new and interesting classes to stimulate your creative juices! Click on the link below to see descriptions of some of the classes that are taught each month. Check the calendar below for class dates and times. If you would like to take a class that is not listed, send us a message and let us know. We'll work hard to find an artist in this area who can teach the class!
Additional notes about Dr Meow's classes:
- Most classes are $40.00 plus kit fee which varies by class (see class description document for kit fees)
- Lampworking Classes: Beginner Lampworking $100, 10-4pm, Studio Nights $55, 5-8pm
- Lampworking Classes are held at Dr. Meow’s Studio just over Cinco Bayou bridge from the gallery.
- Once you have had a Beginning Lampworking class (here or elsewhere) you are welcome to attend bi-weekly studio
- Nights at Dr. Meow’s. Each Studio Night will have a theme, Dr. Meow will demonstrate a technique and help you to make it.
- If you have a specific technique you would like to work on Dr. Meow can help you with that as well. Studio Nights keep your lampworking skills growing! All materials are supplied for lampworking classes including didymium glasses, tools, dipped mandrels, kiln, use of oxygen/propane torch (Carlisle MiniCC)
